This is based on the Fionna & Cake episode “The Star” where Fionna, Cake, & Simon land in a version of Ooo ruled by Vampires… yall should watch Fionna & Cake to know more 😈😈😈
This track has actually be sitting in my backlog for a bit, It's part of an... not yet announced... project! Hopefully things for that get further figured out so we CAN announce that, but I felt i'd like you guys should get to hear what we were cooking for it!
This song was made in collaboration with John G! Who made the original orchestra test of Everything Stays in the minor key! I then layered some harpsicord and some rock drums and wrote alternate lyrics for the song thinking about "The Star" from Fionna and Cake! Meelz was already on the project and I knew I'd be approaching him to help with guitar on it, and Toasty and Chi-chi were so clear in my mind as Marceline and Bubblegum--- honestly still shocked how close to the original voices both of them sound!
Eiraanimates colored and inked my thumbnail drawings of the characters for Luis to use in the lyric video he made for this song!
